My Irish Water Spaniel Faethe gave birth to 8 pups, a week early, on the same day my Chinook whelped! The pups were very vigorous and good sized but we lost a female pup a few days later. The remaining 7 pups are very healthy and happy. Faethe is an excellent mom with a lot of milk.

Faethe taking a well deserved nap. At a week of age, the pups and Faethe are going to stay with a friend of mine of has Beaucerons. They will stay for a few weeks until waening time. This way I can concentrate on my Chinook litter and Faethe and her pups can also get some more attention.
